After some 12 years Sirius escaped from the prison of Azkaban. After a little effort he could convince Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix that he was innocent. As he could not prove his innocence with the help of any concrete evidence, he had to remain fugitive.

After a long search Harry was abled to find out Sirius, the father figure to him. But, Sirius Black showed least interest in finding back his old days of glory and camaraderie. In the battle of the Department of Mysteries saw Sirius’s death in the hand of his cousin Bellatrix.
