| Ludovic "Ludo" Bagman is one of the fictional characters in the Harry Potter Series written by J.K. Rowling. Ludovic Bagman was the head of the Division of Magical Games and Sports in Hogwarts. Ludovic Bagman is a flamboyant wizard in Hogwarts always jumping around and trying to look like he is having a lot of fun.
The stature of Ludovic Bagman is short; he is relatively fat and looks like a powerful man. With round blue eyes, blond hair and rosy complexion Ludovic Bagman looks like an overgrown schoolboy.

He is tall and powerful. But after his retirement in 1995 he started putting on a lot of weight. He is more like a flighty and concentrates more on his entertainments than his actual job. In 1980 Ludovic Bagman was a highly successful and best Beater for the Wimbourne Wasps a league Quidditch team, the fictional game introduced by J.K Rowling and also on the English National Quidditch team. While playing Ludovic Bagman’s good looks have gone a bit to seed; his nose is smashed in apparently broken by a stray bludger. He served as the head of the department of Games and Sports in Hogwarts until late June 1995 when suddenly he left Hogwarts informally under a cloud of gambling allegations.
Ludovic Bagman is considered somewhat of a celebrity and is the head of the Department of Magical Games and Sports in the Ministry of Magic. During his Quidditch days Ludo Bagman was accused of passing information to a Death eater and former friend of his father and Death Eater Augustus Rookwood. He admitted his fault during his trial and also claimed that he did not know that Augustus was working for Voldemort. Mad Eye Moody believed Ludo and claimed that he had been foolish rather than treacherous.
Ludovic Bagman was present during the selection of the champions of the Triwizard tournament. He was one of the five judges for the tournament. The other four judges were Olympe Maxime, Albus Dumbledore, Igor Karkaroff and Bartemius Crouch Sr.
Bagman loved gambling. Trouble started for Ludovic Bagman when he gambled heavily during the Quidditch World Cup Final in 1994. He even borrowed money from the goblins and gambled. After the world Cup he used his Leprechuan gold to pay off the goblins and witches. He attempted to recoup and pay off the goblin he made bet in the Triwizard Tournament saying that Harry Potter would win the tournament. He was on of the judges of the tournament. So he manipulated with the scores of Harry Potter and made him win the First Task but Harry Potter equaled his scores with the Cedric Diggory in the third task. And Bagman lost the bet. Before the third task of the tournament ended he fled in order to avoid his goblin creditors. His whereabouts are not known to anybody.
Another weakness of Bagman was that he was not fluent in the Goblin language, Gobbledegook. He knows only one word- bladvak which means "pickax".
Bagman's character was cut from the film version of book four of the Harry Potter Series, although he was featured in an earlier draft and reportedly Martin Landham had won the role.
