| Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore is popularly known to the voracious readers of the Harry Potter series as the adorable Headmaster of Hogwarts School of magic, who has been serving for nearly forty years. During his service period he has seen Voldemor planning to take over the control of the Wizarding world. Dumbledore has been awarded with the First Class of Order of Merlin award for his power of wizardry and he was also named the Chief Warlock and the Supreme Mugwump of the International Confederation.

In the later years Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore was known mostly for his kind nature, mastery over the magical abilities, his humor and eccentricity. He has expressed his repentance over some of the things that he has done or thought of in his youth. He spent the later years of his life in gaining knowledge about seductiveness of power and regarding dark impulses of the Wizarding Society.
Among the three siblings Dumpbledore was the oldest. His parents were Percival Dumbledore, a wizard and Kendra, the Muggle-born witch. When Albus was only ten, due to a friction between the Wizarding world and the Muggle the family got changed forever. Ariana, the six years old sister of Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore was badly beaten up by three Muggle boys. She had to use her magic power to protect herself. It is said that as she had to use her magical power against her own will she went mad.
The condition of her daughter was kept a secret as Kendra decided to do. Then the family shifted to Godric’s Hollow from Mould-on-the-World. Later on, Albus Dumbledore and his brother was sent to the Hogwarts school for higher education while, Ariana remained at home and as a result her magic remained untrained, crude. In a very short time Albus was able to make his mark in different aspects of their studies. In 1899 he was about to go on an excursion of the Wizarding world when Ariana accidentally killed her mother Kendra. Albus remained dropped the idea of launching an astounding career through the tour and decided to remain at home to take care of his ailing sister.
Soon Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore met Gellert Grindelwald and was mesmerized by the ideas of this visionary and his constant search for the Three Deathly Hallows. At that time, Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore got infatuated with Gellert and his views and soon a fight broke out between Albus and his brother Aberfort, because their sister was receiving lesser amount of attention from her elder brother. After that Gellert fled and Albus regretted his sister’s death for the rest of his life.

Later on Tom took the name, Lord Voldemort and canalized all his energy in gaining power. After Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore defeated his one time friend Grindelwald, Lord Voldemort started fearing him.
When Lord Voldemort appeared to be invincible all the hope rested on the 11 year old boy Harry Potter as according to a prediction he was about to kill Voldemort. In the year 1997, Severus Snape killed Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore.
